"I was hesitant going into Christopher Robin"
I wasn't exactly sure what the target demographic was for the film. Fortunately, much as I had hoped, this film seemed to be made to cater towards adults who grew up with the franchise. Though, that isn't to say kids won't enjoy the movie. Kids will love the jokes and silly characters, just like we did as kids. However, younger viewers won't be able to grasp the more mature themes that are at the core of the film's plot. I cannot remember if I have ever laughed and cried simultaneously as much as I did while watching Christopher Robin. This film is an absolute rollercoaster of emotions, and its certainly a rollercoaster I want to ride again. As of this writing, Christopher Robin is my favorite movie of 2018.
"The ending is mad stupid"
This movie is the experience of sitting by a nice, warm fire in the wintertime. For a few minutes, it's comforting and cozy, and forces you to reflect on your own life. But then the fire dies, and as the film comes to the cheesiest possible close it can, you are reminded that the fire really doesn't matter if you're cold at the end.
